On the occasion of Michelle Obama's visit to Munich, Obama Foundation and BMW Foundation hosted, supported by Transatlantic Hub, a special side event focusing on new models of leadership for more sustainable and inclusive capitalism.

We welcomed 40+ exceptional leaders from technology, start-ups, major businesses, NGOs and venture capital to continue the conversation that Michelle Obama started at the Bits & Pretzels Conference earlier that day.

Create a network, a kitchen table, a place to gather...

That's exactly what we did: we came together in an intimate setting and warm atmosphere to be inspired by short talks from leaders like Fridtjof Detzner and Lubomila Jordanova and facilitated a truly interactive session in which our guests were encouraged to contribute their thoughts and ask questions.

We created a network, a "kitchen table," to build bridges between the networks and to create a community that supports each other and can be relied upon.
